Kelly Clarkson

KellyKelly Clarkson (in full Kelly Brianne Clarkson) was born on 24 April 1982 in Fort Worth, Texas. Clarkson is an American TV personality and singer-songwriter. She was a contestant in 2002 when she was the winner of her first American Idol talent contest. Clarkson was raised at Burleson (Texas) which is an area close to Fort Worth. Her vocal ability was noticed at the age of seven by the teacher who taught choir at the school she attended. When she graduated from high school, Clarkson moved into Los Angeles to try to make it in the show business. When she returned in Texas in 2002, she competed on the The Fox Broadcasting Corporation's American Idol. This singing contest allowed the audience to choose their top performer. Clarkson was adored by the viewers due to her captivating voice and wit. Clarkson was awarded $1 million as well as a recording contract for RCA for her winnings.
